These trousers belong to Finn, they had a worn away hole in one knee and the material was thinning on the other knee. I have used a bright red colour and a navy colour in contract with the mustard corduroy of the trousers. I have used two strands of a Sashiko thread as even though they are made from corduroy they are quite a thin material and a little thinner where they are worn at the knees so the six strands of the thread would have been too difficult to keep pulling through.
Reinforced and ready for playing in again
