These jeans belong to Gareth Heaton, they were quite badly damaged in the crotch area and a hole on the knee as well.
I have lined them using a patch of vintage kimono lining and pink Sashiko thread that had been divided into three strands and then doubled up making a thicker thread to used with the thick denim fabric. I have used the back and forth running stitch and repeated this across the damage to reinforce the damge and make the area stronger.
